An immersive experience in a long forgotten forest, an alternate reality filled with otherworldly delights...

Our friends Jaymo & Andy George have invited us along to their amazing Lost Village Festival.
We'll be bringing our 90's Hip Hop and RnB vibes to Basecamp and our homies The Age Of LUNA are also on this incredible lineup!

27—29 MAY 2016

Long since concealed from the outside world, the Lost Village has been a source of suspicion and rumour for generations. From apparitions in the skies above its rustling treetops, to the misplaced souls that wonder it’s leafy corridors, plucked from the sands of time itself.

So, if you think you’re ready, take the road past the old fishing lake, towards the water tower. Ahead you’ll see a rusty gate, nestled amongst the darkened bushes, and a sign that reads ‘Keep Out!’. Beyond that gate is where you need to go, for beyond that gate is the forest of the Lost Village.

Once inside we can no longer promise your fate. Amongst the derelict buildings and winding pathways, you will encounter all manner of unusual characters. Speak to them, hear their stories, join their journey.

A kaleidoscopic dreamscape of sights, sounds, secret hideaways, banquets of fine food and rituals of the weird and wonderful all await those who dare to enter this mysterious place.

The gateway opens but once a year… Assemble your tribe, the Lost Village awaits.

N.W.A to re unite for Coachella performance..?

Ice Cube is already on the bill for this years Coachella festival as a solo act, but after an interview with The Talk he's hinted that there could be some of his old crew joining him on stage for what could be a very special performance.  “I’ve got some tricks up my sleeves … I’m gonna try to bring the members of N.W.A together. Give everybody a little history lesson on Ice Cube and N.W.A, West Side Connection, everything I’ve been doing over the years.” Dr. Dre hasn’t performed with his old crew for a while, but Ice Cube did briefly get together with DJ Yella and MC REN at last year’s BET Experience just before Straight Outta Compton hit our screens.
If this happens it could be huge, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Check out his interview below...

We're hyped to head to Europe's leading urban music festival alongside Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, The Game, Ty Dolla $ign, DJ Premier, Statik Selektah, Logan Sama, Shakka and Tim Westwood. Fresh Island is pulling out all the stops this year to make its fifth anniversary the biggest and most memorable yet. Having earned a well-deserved reputation as one of Europe’s most unique music festivals, Fresh Island will once again welcome thousands of revellers to the idyllic waterside settings of Zrce Beach to witness international and underground talent across the full spectrum of Hip Hop, R&B and Grime.

Headlining the anniversary celebrations this year is rap demigod Wiz Khalifa, riding high of the back of a huge 2015 that saw him slay the charts with the Grammy nominated See You Again. Wiz will be joined by one of Hip Hop’s most dominant voices Ty Dolla $ign, who’ll be ready to deliver live cuts from his formidable debut album Free TC. Making a welcome return to the island after recording the Beautiful Life music video with fellow Fresh Island alumni Action Bronson and Danny Brown last year, is seminal East-Coast producer Statik Selektah. DJ Premier is another legendary producer who'll be jetting to Zrce beach for Fresh Island.

Check out last years highlights below...

Holding it down for the UK is BBK collaborator and rising r&b prodigy Shakka, alongside grime champion Logan Sama. No Fresh Island line-up would be complete without the godfather Tim Westwood on the bill and the DJ will be joined by Melody Kane and Miss DJ Candy. Keeping the party going throughout the week are some of the UK’s finest crews including Shorebitch, Applebum, So Fresh So Clean, Cheese On Bread, Faded and Rompa's Reggae Shack.
